SPC have worked for a range of both major and small clients on a
wide variety of projects including, failure investigations, litigation,
advice, specifications, surveys of structures and disputes of paint
and coatings quality.
The Government Departments who have employed SPC include the UK’s
Environment Agency, the Department of Environment Northern Ireland,
the Ministry of Defence GCHQ, DEFRA and the Isle of Man, Manx Government.
In addition, overseas Governments include the Royal Nepalese Government
Bridges Department and Indian Rail Bridges Department.
Major consultants have also employed SPC on an extensive basis
on a wide range of projects, these include: W S Atkins Plc, Mott
MacDonald, Hyder Consulting, Mouchel and Partners, Parsons Brinkerhoff,
Binnie, Black and Veatch, Babtie and WSP.
In addition to the main Government Departments and Consulting Engineers,
SPC has also been employed on a number of chemical and power plants
including Shell Chemicals at Stanlow Refinery, BP Chemicals at the
Saltend Plant and by TBV Power Limited for Medway Power Station.
In addition Albion Chemicals have retained SPC for advice on protection
of plant and the preparation of company specifications. SPC have
also recently provided advice on a power plant in Kingston, Jamaica.
