With many decades of experience behind it, SPC has delivered the highest quality coatings systems to some of Europe’s most iconic structures. From the historic Cutty Sark sail clipper to North Sea windfarms. From trans-continental pipelines to Kings Scross Station in London (pictured above, picture courtesy Hufton & Crow).
Teams of SPC inspectors and consultants are a regular sight on many road and rail structures, but can also be seen on major refurbishments (including lighthouses and giant satellite dishes). The company has also worked on leisure centres, snow domes and sports stadia – in fact on any structure where long life coatings and structural integrity are a priority.
SPC is involved with the current Triplets Project between St Pancras and Kings Cross stations in London (above left, picture courtesy Carillion plc). Due to open in 2016, an innovative four coat coatings system will be applied to stripped and decontaminated 150 year-old ironwork, providing a 25 year maintenance free life to the structures.
