The Director and major shareholder of SPC is David Deacon, a qualified paint technologist with over 40 years experience. All of the SPC staff have been prominent members of the UK’s Institute of Corrosion and David Deacon is an Honorary Life Fellow and is currently the President for 2003 - 2004. Derek Bayliss, senior consultant, is a Past President and Fellow of the Institute and Alan Taylor, ex Department of is Transport/Highways Agency, is a Fellow of the Institute.

The administration of SPC is managed by Gill Inwood, the Company Secretary, who has previously worked for BIE, ITI as well as SPC and has also worked in an administrative capacity for the Institute of Corrosion.

The main UK office of SPC is Corrosion House in Leighton Buzzard and they share the offices with the Institute of Corrosion.

In addition to Gill Inwood, the administration team includes Sallyann Deacon and Heather Rutter, both of whom are based at Corrosion House.
